Greets all. I finally got a new PC and trying to cannibalize my old one. This is my new set up. All drives are SATA-III. Software/NLE=Premiere Pro CC'14
Benchmark numbers come from ATTO Disk Benchmark
CPU: i7-4790 @3.6Ghz
Mem: 8GB 1600Mhz
GPU: Nvidia GTX 750 Ti
C (came w/ machine): R-~195MB/s, W-~190MB/s
F (Intel 330 SSD 60GB): R-~550MB/s, W-~600MB/s
J (Seagate Barricuda 7200,1TB): both ~100MB/s
I've tried several tests and the attached img are the results....
Top L: Project Files, Cache, Write = C: drive only
Top R: Project Files = C:, Cache/Write = D:
Bottom L: Project Files/Write = C: Cache = D:
Bottom R: Project Files =I:, Cache =D:, Write = C:
Anything you can think of to boost performance?
