new panasonic camera?

i was searching on the internet awhile ago and saw some new hd camera from pansonic... its much smaller than the hvx and had some wierd handle... does anyone know anything about this?? i cant seem to find it again
 
a mock-up was shown at NAB. its supposed to be available september 2006.

yeah thats the HVX before it was the HVX... that hit the floor at NAB in 2004 and was the concept for what we have now.

Jarred maybe Panasonic is trying to trick us!! They made everyone think it was the HVX, but really its the new DVX300 that will come out in sept 2006 for only $1999.00. Plus Barry's book and the new windows Vista.
 
It doesn't matter, as it doesn't exist, nor is it going to exist.

This was an early, pre-pre-pre-prototype of what eventually became the HVX.

Theoretically we could still see this (or something similar) in the consumer line, using AVCHD. Could end up being the true heir to the GS400 Throne.
 
Oh jesus, not the balsa wood mockup again. Someone should do a horrorfest film about that. No matter how many times we kill the rumors, it keeps rising from the dead.:zombie_smiley:
