New ones!

I'm sorta getting the hang of focusing now. When I first went out to shoot with my D80 I had a hard time focusing. Now I just got my 50mm 1.4 zeiss and I am having an impossible time. Everytime I look at the picture in the small view finder it looks alright; then I blow it up and it's crap. But here are some of the FEW that came out alright.

All look great - the composition on the first one is incredible though. I love the light coming through the doorway. And the focus looks spot on. Good work!

LOVE that first shot. The blacks of the dresser, bed frame, boots, hair and pillow just seem to fall into perfect placement. Love it.

I'm with Ryan. It's awesome. I love even more that you can't see her face. The dark furniture, great contrast, and clean lines really set the mood. Just a beautiful shot.

To be honest, I don't get much from the second. Something about the 3rd one strikes me funny too, but I do like the color contrast that the different temp bulbs create with the white balance you used in both pics. Good eye.

Post or PM your Flickr ID if you don't mind. I'd like to look at your other stuff too. Thanks

yeah, I like that first one too. Love the b&w, love the detail and sharpness...my eye goes right too that shiny sheen going up her boot. Very sexy and you didn't even need a boob shot. nice!

As for the 3rd shot...it reminds me of timurcivans canon 5d nighttime city shots in his other thread. i like the reflections. a bit soft for my taste though.

keep 'em coming....

Sure, definetly, feel free to comment on any of them, I could use some good criticism. But I don't have to many Digital ( I just got my first digital camera) But I do have some cool B&W film stuff I'm proud of.

Don't expect to many Photographs though, I just started taking photographs about 3 months ago.

One thing about Picture 2, I really liked though was the fact that the only thing in focus is that yellow lit Bulding in the background, while everything infront of it is slightly blurred. I thought it just made it intresting how its color and focus seperates it from what most people would want to see ( the forground). But that's just my opinion.
