New Movie Wanted Inspired This Idea, However Help Is Needed.

I Just saw the movie Wanted last night, and it was amazing. There was a twist that almost beats the one in SAW, the plot was great and the FX were AT THERE BEST. So much so I want to make my own version of what was done in the movie. There are many scenes where somthing would happen, and the action will pause at the most amazing times. For example this guy was hit with a computer keyboard, and it paused after the impact, with all the keyboard pieces in Mid air, as well as the guys tooth, and then it shoots back to real time, and all the CG elements fall to the floor. Here is my idea, I want the effect of my actor being hit in the face with bat and it will pause after impact and these are the elements I want in my shot: Blood coming from his mouth, as well as spit (saliva) . And maybe a couple teeth. My question to all of you is, how can i create those elements, with the use of AE CS3 and possibly Blender 3d. I wasd thinking for the teeth just get somthing from goole and animate it with key Frames, however I'm not sure if that will cut it. For the blood particles and saliva, I have no idea. Maybe somthing with cycore Fx. Help will be great, Thank You
 
Well I'll check this Dvd Out, Thanks, But just to verify the bat will be real, its just the stuff from his mouth saliva, blood, teeth. that will be CGI. But I do know about, Kramer's Bullet Effect Just never thought of applying it to this. Thanks. Other idea's are welcomed :D
 
You dont mention the camera you use, but assuming DVX, shoot at 60i, 1/120s or faster shutter speed. Cheat the camera angle and use a fake bat if possible. (Safety reasons) Swing the bat, have your victim react. Take the footage into AE, and play with the speed as needed. Find the frame you want to freeze on and then follow the same steps as in The Bullet, replacing the bullet with teeth and saliva/blood. The saliva/blood/teeth with be created in the 3d app.
