New Magic Bullets Released ( Vers 2) Real time

Have they added more video cards that are compaitible to this new version yet? the fact that they only support certain nvidia cards is complete bullshit.

I will check the .pdf for compatible cards - there is a comprehensive list (that I did not read at the time) that came with the software. (may be available on their site)

I did notice tho' that the new version makes additional use of the latest NVIDIA cards and uses a 'Deep color rendering' process.

@ saturnin - I posted this here because it is the Premiere part of the forum. They are made for PRPRO and the other NLE apps.

The last Magic Bullet version I had was also for PremPro

Seems they are still most compatible with NVIDEA based cards according to the PDF. Something to do with the way it processes graphics thru its GPU.

I might add - they are not realtime but seem a lot faster than previous version. They have a list of fps processing times in their help file and it depends on your application and your graphic card.

You're confusing two versions of Magic Bullet. Magic Bullet Editors is for NLEs like PPro, Vegas, Avid. Magic Bullet Suite is After Effects only. They have a common set of features but Magic Bullet Suite adds the 24p conversion and deinterlacing tools plus more.

I too would like to see real-time support for ATI cards on the PC platform. It's odd to me that they support ATI on Macs but not PCs.

I never mentioned "suite" so it wasnt me that was confused. (Iieven included a link to what I refered to)

The "realtime" requires a high end nVidia card such as the GT/GTX 7800. Still dubious that it is realtime but any speed gain is helpful. I am considering this card but I have to also consider Matrox compatibilty issues.
