I'd really like to get my hands on Aperture... they're going to have some trouble getting people to convert from Photoshop. (IMO)

DAMMIT. see this is what i hate about apple. you freaken buy a powerbook, then 5 months later they do this ****, without you knowing that if you wait that time, you get a better laptop for a cheaper price.

At least with Apple, you can buy a new system when it is first released, knowing that it will be the top spec for 6 months. PCs change everday. Of course that has downsides as well!

I think these upgrades were a little stingy... the Quad G5 looks cool, but the lower spec machines have hardly improved. :(

They upgraded the processor from the original specs a few months ago anyway. This is only a slight improvment. That is unless you bought yours before the upgrade.

Damnit, there go my 5 months old G5 and 2 months old PB... I'm SOOO getting the new dual-core beast!

Looks like I found my HD machine. Time to FINALLY say goobye to my dual G4. Now all it needs is a Blue ray burner. 16gigs of ram is just plain wacky.

AND you can run up to EIGHT cinema displays off it with the new cards (Quatro FX) they're putting in them. INSANE.

Don't you remember Jarred's parting comments? It was something like, "Goodbye for now. I'm sure we'll meet again.".
