Was playing with AE a bit and here's what I came up with:

No sounds yet - I was planning to go record some slot machines, if I decide to stick to this idea. And the idea itself is basically that "xl70e3" doesn't sound like any sort of a meaningful combination of letters to most people, hence the randomizer thing.

I'd love to hear any thoughts/suggestions.

After watching the logo I see that you are a George Lucas fan. the logo was creative.
 
It looks good so far. I think it's a little too long but that could just be my personal pref. It may sound good if you record A slot machine and not SOME slot machines. Overall though, as I said, it looks good:)
 
What a great start and a nice homage to Lucas THX.

I'd ramp it up personally. And somethings missing for me.

What if it were just the letters and symbols without the grid or woodgrain. What if these letters were kind of spacey glowy and hovering by themselves?

John, I'm not sure. I really had an image of slot machine in my head while making this - maybe the sound (which I'm certainly gonna add) is what's missing? But I do like the idea of whole different look, you know, kinda like WB's been doing since Matrix and Universal recently did with Doom.
I.E. for sci-fest it's gonna be something outer space related :cheesy:

That's kind of what my subjectiveness is seeing; a more outer spacey kind of vibe.........

I do like it though!
 
Shorter, better. Like it more. May I suggest another tweak? Try playing with the ease-in and ease-out of your keyframes to help make the movement a bit more natural looking. Also if you can find another way to introduce the logo other then a standard fade in, I think you'd be all set.
 
Very nice animation. Very clean and pro. But I agree it should be shorter. What kind of audio were you thinking?
 
What a piece of ****....my mouse anit working right....anyway as for your logo, its not bad. I think it works. Maybe ramp up your graphics abit but overall its cool. Oh, I don't know about the whole slot machine sound thing. I don't know, that's just my opinion. Keep it up!
