On eBay I've seen auctions for a light that looks shockingly similar to the Litepanels 1x1 Bi-color, and it's not a FloLight or a Cool light. Pricing seems to be $1,300 for a Bi-Color 1x1.

Is this a new company? Has anyone bought one of these yet, or have any idea how it compares to the LitePanels?
In the description on eBay it say's it's made of a stronger aluminum casing and has brighter output but I can't find a footcandles chart anywhere (not a good sign) .. another thing I noticed on the link was that it only has a CRI of 80-85 which I realize is not that great... but I'm not sure what the exact CRI on the Litepanels are anyway? (90?)
Considering some people feel the need to place minus green over a Litepanels does it really make a difference if you place a slight bit more over this clone, with the extra benefit of greater light output and a lower price?
With that said, I know that a name also goes along way to getting respect on a shoot so I'm very close to pulling the trigger on the Litepanels 1x1 Bi-Color and maybe a MiniPlus. But saving $1000 on one of these clones is very tempting since they look almost exactly the same.
What do you guys think?
