New LED Lights Comer 1800 vs Hualin

hey that looks like the exact same light. i have the comer 1800 and i love it. if taky and this guy are getting their same shipment from the same manufacturer then they are identical lights. i do want to say go with taky because he has great customer service and i think but dont quote me on this is a site sponsor but at this price difference its up to you. i went with the comer, maybe taky will see this post and chime in.

it says its 4500k or 3200k. does it come with anything built in or do you just need to do a gel job?

Not to throw cold water on this, because I was really interested in this light too....

Sherri, in post #38 over at dvinfo.net, related her experience with the HuaLin:

Cosmetically, it is identical to the Comer 1800. But turn it on and that's where the similarity ends. I don't know if I got a bad one or what, but the so-called dimmer control does nothing. If you tap the dimmer a couple times, the light gets a bit brighter or worse, flickers. And there is a difference in how the light is dispersed. The Comer is very even whereas the knockoff one throws light in a distinct circle, like a flashlight.

Needless to say, it's on its way back to Hong Kong.
