New kid on the block...

Hey everyone, just figured I'd join up finally and throw up a little info about myself. First, I wanna say that the skill question is still asking for the wrong year...haha

Anyways, I'm going to the Art Institute of Pittsburgh for Video Production/Digital Media Production, recently just upgraded from a Panasonic GS-500 to a DVX100b. Haven't filmed with it yet, but I've messed around with it, and already created my own scene file, yay! (Tried to imitate the rich colorful look of Superbad)

Anyways, I plan on making short movies and other various things, mostly involving cars, which are my other passion.

I have a 2002 Hyundai Elantra that I modify and work on, and play a little bass guitar now and then.

Hopefully I can make some good stuff to show you guys, maybe enter a dvxfest or two!

Mentioned the camera, forgot the editing.

I run FCP on my MacBook, which was upgraded with a 250gb HD and 2 gig of ram.

Thanks guys!

Oh yea, I have the Panasonic 16x9 lens adapter as well.
