New IPod!! WTF?!?!

It looks cool...but its wayy too small!!!! who needs anything that small??

Something of that size could get lost maddd easily...espcieally for clumsy ppl...which overpopulate this earth...notin against clumsy people...but that thing would be soo easy to lose...plus....whats the point? you can get a 20GB thats like over enuff songs for about the same price.....its riduculous..

I agree that the price is pretty high, but you could say that about any iPod compared to other digital music players. Part of the attraction is the style and the Nano has style in spades. I'm not giving up my 20GB iPod, but the Nano might make it into my wife's stocking at Christmas time or something like that. It definitely has it's market.
 
In my opinion...has anyone heard of IRivers?

I bought one about a month ago...those things are beastly! and cheaper than the IPod....and the batteries last alot longer and it doesnt freeze up like the IPod..my friends that bought IPods for the Christmas Rush of buying IPods...and like 2-4 months theirs all froze up and stuff...then i got my IRiver...that thing hasnt let me down yet...i accidently droped it off my deck 2 weeks ago...it got scratchedup...but didnt freeze...i bet if u took the IPod NanospectacularnodifferentthanregularIPod...it would like shatter and moosh.

but thats just my observations....maybe they fixed the freezing problem in this new one.....but theres a new ITunes...version 5...im gonna download that.
 
Itunes V5 is very cool. Much better than 4.

I'm picking up a Nano for biking. They're pretty slick.
 
Yeah, I've used the IRivers, but Apple convinced me that to be cool I had to have an iPod ... and that's perhaps the most pathetic post ever. :(
 
I think the only reason Apples IPods are so popular and ''cool'' is because of their marketing...i mean...they got those commercials with dancing sillohuettes...iduno how to spell that word...people remember that...and the white color too is verry noticeable compared to regular mp3/cd players.
Unlike the IRivers..you dont see commercials for them on TV...you have to actually do some research to find them out...i found out about IRiver when my friend came to school...i was like...wats that?..hes like..IRiver, i saw it in Best Buy, it was cheaper than IPod...

But Apple's got the trophy for best marketing of their products....dancing silhoettes with white colored MP3 players....GENIOUS!!
 
C'mon the industrial design of Apple's products is head and shoulders above the rest. They actually DESIGN. Their products are beautiful before you even turn them on.
 
I agree, in fact, the design is really the only reason I find myself wanting an Ipod. They look kick ass! So clean....
 
I've wanted an iPod ever since the original came out. However, I've always put that money to use in other ways. Not now, I'm buying one of those things!

Apple certainly has the "cool design" thing down well. Their stuff always looks visually impressive.
 
The company I work for gave everybody a 512mb iPod Shuffle a little while back. The thing is pretty damn cool, if you ask me. I take it on all my trips.
 
What about dem Hybrid cars??

Theres no such thing as an IPod that conserves battery life the way Hybrids conserve gas..plus..hybrids get more milage....with Ipods...ehh...

Minivan?...Joe..im starting to think that your the soccermom car driver of the house....muuahah
