Kind of "old" news, but to those of you that didnt know, Intel has come out with a new chipset. No significant improvement...yet  :-/ Some exciting stuff in the horizon though like 250/300GB 16MB Buffer HDD's (that are on par with 10KRPM HDD's), HDTV PC cards, etc. etc.

ha ha.. good old Anandtech. Anand Lal Shimpi and me both started the same kinda website in 1996, He started Anandtech and I started Cputweak.com . Now, Cputweak.com is long dead and bought by some popup monkey, and hes driving around in a BMW and living in a million dollar house and still cranking that stuff out. Funny how things change.

The Lovely thing about the new Intel 775 Processor is that it is super easy to bend the pins on the MB. Basically Intel didnt want to deal with damage processors so they made pinless processors and put the connector pins on the MB's. You are not suppose to touch the bottom of the proc, or put it in at any wrong angle, or put the wrong amount of pressure while installing and on top of that the new fans that it takes to cool the thing could cool a small country, as long as they didnt mind the noise. That being said I plan to put one together next week ))).

On the other note another cool peice of hardware that is released with the 775 Proc is the PCI express slots (these should really help increase the output of high-end video graphic).
