As someone who has been watching the Luxli Timpani for a while now, this light looks interesting. Price is also close.
I like the built in effects.
Thoughts?

Output looks pretty low.
24 footcandles at 10' at 3300K
28 footcandles at 10' at 5600K

Compared to the ARRI S60 with Standard Diffusion:
117 footcandles at 3m/9.8' at 3200K
115 footcandles at 3m/9.8' at 5600K

Litepanels Gemini:
82 footcandles at 10' at 3200K
97 footcandles at 10' at 5600K

I've been using the Ikan Lrya (1x4 panel. DMX, 3200-5600 adjustable) for about 18-24 months now and have been impressed.
It's a little heavy but the trade off is that they are robust.

Thanks for those photometrics Bill. It's kind of fun to see that the output level is almost exactly scaled to the purchase price amongst the three units. Of course, not everyone needs the punch of the Skypanels so this may work fine for them.

I own three RGB lights with effects. Have never used an effect, even once. I'm beginning to think all of these RGB lights that really hype up these effects up fall into the category of "Wow, that sounds like a cool idea. I MUST have it" to the reality of, "Yeah, my lights do all of those effects but I never use that feature."

Maybe if you shoot a lot of music videos or commercials where you need "campfire, TV flickering, etc?" I just don't need those functions but those features aren't the reason I bought any of my RGB lights, they were just "gift with purchase".

I've been on two sets in the last year where they used the police lighting effect on the arri S60's. You don't think that mode would be effective on this ikan light?

Yeah wonder what's up with these photometrics... It's a "150w" LED with the photometrics of a 60w LED. My guess is it has a total of 150w (30w x 5ch) of emitters and is simply programmed to only use about 30-60w of them in most modes. The drastic change in output through the CCT range seems to support this. Maybe they avoid using any RGB in CCT mode to keep claimed CRI up?

Seems like a waste of space and money when a luxli timpani doubles its output for half the size and less money...
