Hello there.
I am in developing a very new hand held stabilizer hybrid and shoulder mount, that it can go from A to B in seconds.
Its made for all DSLRs and it also has a 15mm rod system that can be adjusted left or right higher or lower to fit ant existing matte box , and lens height.
The name of this product is THE ACROBAT, and as a stabilizer it can produce steadicam shots you can perform pan tilt and roll with one hand operation, and you can run at highest speed, jump , or what ever other move with great freedom and no limits apart of the endurance of your arm.
High to low mode at any reach.
Its all made of Carbon fiber and 7075t5 ALUMINUM with CNC technology( no molded parts, or laser cut, waterjets) from billet.
X,Y Precision stage , dovetail design, active lock, 1.5 inch telescopic post, monitor mount, open frame cable through post design, and other great features.
It can go from stabilizer to shoulder mount in 30 sec.
as Iam making the first prototype I would be great to see how you dig this idea, mainly talking about pro videographers for weddings and smaller productions rather that fully pro, using DSLRs or othe hd camcorder up to 3 kilos .
Iam going to bring some renders here very soon for you to see , and soon enough you ll have videos of the hybrid in both shots from and off the rig.
Ill be glad to get some feedback on how you like this idea.
Before there is questions about pricing and cheap development I will say that this will be a product in the range of 1500 euro as its very high quality with no compromises BUT you will have a STABILIZER, and a SHOULDER mount that can be split in secs into 2 rigs, and with the highest materials, and design.
