Hello everyone. I don't know if this is the right place to post this topic or not, but I wanted to introduce myself.
I have been lurking here off and on for a bit and wanted to finally join. I found out about the site through my old work place. I worked with the videographer at Fountain Powerboats (www.fountainpowerboats.com) and he showed me a user guide DVD to the HVX200 that had the website listed on it.
I am a student at East Carolina University majoring in Media Production. This will be my second degree as my first one is in Motorsports Management Technology. I hope to soon create videos and short films based on cars, bikes, racing, etc and/or get a job with a company in motor sports broadcasting/marketing. I also have a website currently in the works based on a motorcycle community that I hope to start making short, promotional films for.
Anyway, I'm here to start learning the basics and hopefully make a decision on my first camera and find good places to go for learning more on Final Cut Pro and other programs for visual and audio effects.
