New here/Getting a DVX/Sony Grabs

[Nobody356]

Ok so I have been reading this forum alot and am excited to say that I am getting a dvx! I just ordered it on Sunday so I am painfully waiting for it to arrive. To pass the time/ practice some editing skills I am making a practice short in the style of sin city. I really just threw this together and since I didnt have anyone else around i just used a tripod to shoot myself. I can't wait to get the dvx and be able to post some real grabs, till then take a look at these and tell me what you think of the style.

These were shot with an ancientsony mini-dv camera(DCR-TRV10) :

...the days of interlace will be over soon... tell me what you think

Interlaced is painful to look at.

Congrats on the new camera, can't wait to see what you can do with it.

is that last grab when that guy dunks that other dudes head in the toilet? They look pretty good except for that picture quality but that'll soon be over.
