New Hasselblad E-mount camera

[vanvideo]

...for a mere $6,500. Ouch. But it sure is a beauty:

I like the shape of the grip and I really wish the NEX 5 and 6 had this grip shape.
Price-wise...
I don't think so. My deep pocket status got rejected so I have to buy "cheaper" $3k or less cameras...:crybaby:

This is a truly sad looking camera.

It says to me Blad have lost the plot and this is a death throw.

Hahaha, that spoof made my day!

Seriously, Hasselblad, you really think your design is worth THAT much? Tragic indeed!

Wait for it, there are two more coming : 'What we're doing is designing three cameras – a compact camera, a DSLR and a mirrorless – with the same style," Alessandrini tells BJP.

That's 'with the same style' folks. If they are hoping it will sell well as a bling fashion accessory, I bet it won't. It's hideous but might grow on me in a perverse way. Academic anyway as I wouldn't be able to afford it.

That's 'with the same style'.

You mean like this one?

I do like the style. Let's see how much Hasselblad will ask for the RX100 clone.

Thank for that link. I know Leica shamelessly pimp up Panasonic cameras, but do Hasselblad need to follow suit? I suppose at least you will get more bolted on from Hasselblad, rather than just the red label Leica offer.
