new g4 battery???

i think my g4 battery is on it's last life. It went from holding a pretty good charge, to only lasting me like 30 minutes.... I have had my g4 almost 2 years, and i have heard a lot of **** about the batteries not lasting that long...

so i have googled this, but does anyone has any tips that i can try without replacing the battery?

If not, can anyone suggest a good replacement battery to get (other then just getting another apple battery).

ps - my battery is not one of the recalled ones... also sorry for posting this in the FCP section, as i didnt know where else to post it.

they've got great batteries. there isn't really anything you can do once the battery is showing poor performance. once it's lost, it's lost.
