btw - I had to drop my avatar on my earthlink account because USERCP errors on me when I try to point to my .mac account.

I thought it was because it needed to be a "www" but realized earthlink isn't "www" either.

The only thing I can think of is the movies and pictures folder on my .mac is hidden i.e.:

.mac puts a "." in front of the Pictures folder making it invisible i think?

To see old threads, go to User CP, Edit Options, Thread Display Options, and for the part called "Default Thread Age Cutoff," put "Show All Threads."
 
Jarred - 50% of my 1,100 posts have been "appreciation" and "thank you's" for this website and for you. It's my only connection to civilization. And, trust me, I'm aware of the headaches and sleepless nights that are sometimes required to maintain a website this big. You've got guts!

The DVxfest is a sensitive area for me (and others) because it symbolizes everything that is great about your website. People coming together for a common good. To learn, have fun, and show-off what they've done. People put a lot of work into their DVXfest videos and deleting the poll felt like a slap in our sensitive areas. :) But the pain has gone and it's original color has returned.

The site changes are great. All kinds of new toys. My only complaint was the timing. (Sorry, I wasn't aware of your lack of free-time. Maybe you should take a break and hang out with me. ...Do you like thai food and karoake? You will.)

they are all there.. go into your control panel and make sure your thread cut off is set for at least 100 days.
 
Click on User CP
Click on Edit Options
Under Thread Display Options|Thread Default Age Cut Off--Change to Show All Threads

Quotes don't seem to be working. Example. "This phrase is in quotes" and *This phrase is in astericks* See what it did? ~reservoir~

UPDATE: Seems to be working fine now!!
 
Another thing I found trippin out on me..

When I hit back or sometimes refresh, it logs me out. Then when I hit reply it logs me back on. Sometimes it won't even do anything so I have to logg on all over agian.

probally cause there is still a cookie from the old board with the same domain that's messing with it.. should fix itself when it expires.
 
i've noticed that some threads tell me there are new posts, when in fact i've already read them and refreshed too. i'm sure that will work itself out too.

Thanks everyone for hanging in there with this massive change. I know its different and a little odd.. but we gotta get used to it. The old software was just crippled, slow and kept crashing the servers, this is sooo much faster and better.

I know some of you hate it.... hopefully it will grow on you :)
