Good news...

On page three of the brochure, linked from Ned Bunnel, Pentax Pres' blog, it states you can use the autofocus button for movies...so some control there!....I'm assuming it's mainly manual focus with an auto button when pressed down, which is just fine for me as I do manual focus all the time and really don't like/trust leaving it on auto focus.
EDIT:
Damn, no shutter or ISO control for video...buzzkill...epic buzzkill.
Apparently the shutter is open for the whole video recording process and it just scans the video frame by frame, hence no shutter speed control. But I may still be interested if that scan rate is constant and in a respectable range. Auto ISO, while a minor nuissance, I can handle. It does allow you to change the exposure value in addition to aperture.
A nice thing I found out is it's data rate is the best of all the hybrids - 74mbs and adjustable to suit your memory needs.
