New Firestore Accessories

Yesterday I received my FS100 extended life battery and new large capacity camera mount and cradle. Both rock! The camera mount is made by Manfrotto and has a sturdy metal hot shoe adapter which I am very impressed with. The cradle is plastic but seems up to the task and has a deeper battery pocket for the extended life battery. The long life battery lasted longer than I did last night so I am now not worried about running out of power. I ordered the quick charger but was disappointed to see it was back-ordered which means using the FS to charge, but they say I should have it in a week or so. Anyway, just wanted to update. just wish I felt as good about the actual Firestore as I do the accessories.

Sounds great. I am doubfounded at that belt clip which is identical to the clip that could not even secure my cell phone.

*Do you have to rely on battery all the time or can you run firestore with an AC adapter?

*Where did you order the camera mount and cradle? can you post any pic of it?

*For that price tag Firestore got, don't you get any camera mount or belt kind of stuff for keeping it whie shooting?

With the Firestore, you get a plastic belt clip with a snap for the firestore and a oversized-alligator clip for your belt. It is the same clip that came with the case for my prior cell phone and which snapped off my belt on more occasions than I care to remember.
