New DVX user in oklahoma. where to buy?

Hello all, I am new to the site and am planning to purchase a DVX100b in the next couple weeks and was wondering if anyone knows of a dealer in Oklahoma preferably the Tulsa area that sells the cam. I have ordered tons of equipment from B&H but would rather make a purchase of this scale local. any advise would be greatly appreciated.
 
FWIW, I live in Florida and buy a bunch of stuff at B&H. But I bought my DVX from Rush at EVS in Californee, since he knows us better and actually uses a DVX. He has also earned my business when I call with specific DVX needs and advice. It is much easier than the generic salespeople at B&H. Be sure to ask for the DVXuser discount. The big advantage of buying local is being able to ask questions, and Rush is a lot closer than your local store.

Thanks for the link cheese, there was a place on that list that i dident even know existed 7 miles away, gonna give them a call tomorrow and check them out.
 
hey not a problem. I know what you mean by wanting to buy locally. At the time, They gave me a great price which was $100 less than BH, but I still had to pay Tax. But no shipping. The great thing is now I can walk into this place for accessories and everyone knows me. We always talk about ongoing projects and things like that, which to me is added value over ordering online from places like BH.
 
There are many satisfied customers on this forum that have purchased from Rush at EVS. In addittion to great service, Rush is always here on the forums helping and guiding people in the right direction! That in itself deserves an A++

7 miles is awfully convenient, IF they know a lot about the DVX and they have one in stock and they are resonably competitive on price. But if they are like my dealer 90 miles away, they will come up short on all three, and then Rush is the way to go.

I agree. I purchased my matte box from EVS. They were great. Back when I bought the DVX, I had not laid eyes on one in person. I felt more comfortable buying locally.
