Just finished my first diy adapter I'm calling it the REM35 it is based off of some other designs that I have seen. I have been testing it out and I am surprised how well it works, i will post some footage hopefully tomorrow, but in the meantime here are some pics......

You can see what looks like the vibration of the adapter. Also it looks a little soft around the edges but I can't tell for sure. If you could on your next test shoot a evenly lit wall that will allow you to determine how much vignetting there is

I think the vibration was me focusing the lense, I will shoot some outside daylight shots tomorrow.

Nope I noticed that as well but I figured it was you shaking the lens. Look at the tropicana logo on the bottle it's there from the start of the video.

I never took my hand off of the lense, I should have...... And I know for certain I will need a follow focus.

So I shot some new footage and I made the biggest mistake I must have screwed the adapter off alignment my bad the black in the corners is outside the focus screen sorry about that, and also I don't have a follow focus yet so there is a little shake from me focusing. let me know what you think.

seems like you have alot of dirt in your lens.. You should clean all the lenses with compressed air before you shoot..

Great job. I really admire the ones who create a DIY adapter. There is indeed some dirt on the lens, but other than that it looks good.

Could you put up a full-size clip so we can check the sharpness etc?

P.S. is that music on your myspace your own?
