If you can get by with 22lbs. the Cartoni Focus is really nice and I got the DVX User discount at AbelCineTech. :thumbsup:
 
Blaine - thanks for the advice. I won't buy from EVSonline anymore. They don't
return my calls, they really don't make an effort to get my business. I've
never been so frustrated with a company before, so I have bought a ton
of products from B&H, paid more, yes, less hassle, even better. I've yet to buy
from Albine so I'll look into that.

About hiring a tripod, I tried, I really tried, but the tripod told me it can only work
Mon-Friday since it doesn't want to ruin its hair or nails on weekends. What is
a person gonna do with a fickled tripod like that?

That tripod sounds like a slacker. But, vain enough to worry about hair and nails? She sounds kinda hot.


Speaking of credit card debt...my credit was lame several years ago so I stopped using my cards entirely. I haven't swiped a credit card since before Y2K and spent years getting my credit rating back to where it is. Currently, my credit is excellent and last week I applied for a Discover card and was denied. Why?.......wait for it......wait for it....."lack of credit history". Unbelievable.

It's a twisted logic they use....or is it??
They'd rather have some history of you paying off the minimum payment each month on a huge debt......wonder why that is? 'Cause that's how they make mucho $$$!
