Hi,

I just purchased and installed FCP studio. I just ordered Total Training and the H.O.T FCP book...but they won't arrive yet. So I need a few help tips until they arrive.

I'm familiar with Premiere Pro but am clueless with FCP

However I have the following concerns...

A) I purchased this FCP from an ebayer in the UK...It just occur to me after a week of using this that would the FCP from the UK be automatically setup for PAL and 25fps?

B) How do I check if the timeline is at 24fps...in the case of still images?

C) When I render out via Quicktime Conversion...what is the best for 24 fps since the original footage are TIFF still images? Also in the case when I use Photozoom Pro since we'll import the footage via TIFF still images as well.

The FCP is universal for NTSC and PAL, what you do is goto file and user and system settings, and you automatically selet the presents, also goto audio/video settings and select your camera and such. If your still not sure right click on the sequence and you can change it manually.

Thanks...I went to FILE, but the system settings isn't in the menu. I found the system settings under the FINAL CUT PRO drop down menu...

is it a different version?
