new clerks 2 trailer

he should have just turned it into a tv sitcom

it was.

an underrated animated series that was absolutely nothing like the movies.

They put it up against the first season of survivor however and it was pulled before it had a chance to develop. Shame cause it was pretty funny. One of the creative minds was David Mandel former producer of Seinfeld.

i think it looks pretty funny.

"there's only one Return here, and it ain't of the King, its of the Jedi"

"we should call your friend Padme, cause he's so in love with mannequin skywalker. i am anakin skywalker, my shi*ty acting ruined the saga" ROFL!

Director of Jersey Girl------- Clerks LOL

That was awesome...I thought Clerks 2 had potential, but I have a feeling it is going to be more than that...It looks awesome.

I liked it a lot. Granted, i think it can still go either way, but I think Kevin realizes that he needs to kinda make a comeback with this, and he has to compensate for the fact that most people don't want him to make a second clerks (or another movie, for that matter).

At first I was nevous, but I think i'm gonna like all the guest cameos as customers. Could be fun. And it also looks like he's actually moving the camera around for once. Crazy

I love Smith, I love all his flicks. I thought this one was a bad idea, and to that I can only say:

"**** TC up his stupid ass."

This thing is going to rock. I don't care if he said he'd never do another one again. I don't care if it's rehashed characters, I love the View-Askewniverse, and this will be a great addition to the list of films.

By the way, that's his wife showing her bra to Randall. Nice.

am i missing something? why is everyone so anti kevin smith?

Everyone thinks he is a foul-mouthed directorial hack, and that they used to like them until their thirtieth birthday.

(by the way, you guys are olllllld)

I like him, but they do make a point that he never ever moves the camera. But other people argued that he made Ben Affleck tolerable on the medium of film. Even Richard Linklater couldn't do that. So the argument goes either way. I think that I'll remain skeptical to a degree and still love his previous work, and just hope that his movement of the camera and Hudson's saying the trailer is funny might provide redemption in the hearts of many for Smith.

If not, what does he care? He's ****ing rich! Have you seen his house before? Christ, it's giant!

Just what the world needs...another ****ing Clerks...give me a break. How about a real movie?

What, a real movie like 2005's The Fog? I'll take a fake Kevin Smith movie over a real Hollywood remake piece of **** any day.

I'm surprised at all the anti-kevin remarks. I'm definitely a fan, and while Jersey Girl sucked balls, everything else he's done i've enjoyed. I like his mix of smart yet stupid humor, and he may not move the camera much but he's still got his own style. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing this.

You never heard ME say The Fog was a real movie. I'm sure I have listed movies whose virtues you have failed to recognize. I would suggest if you wish to point out a perceived error in my thinking you at least use an example I put forth. :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

That said, NO. The Fog was not good either. But choosing a poor movie to compare it to does nothing to make it look any better. Kevin Smith has yet to make a GOOD movie. Once you get past his immature humor, what's left. Static camera and poor acting? Other than the inspiration that if a one trick pony with minimal talent can make so can anyone, I don't see why so many seem to Kevin Smith is good. Completely baffling.

Why is everyone so anti Kevin Smith? This is something that's been discussed here, but at the same time... nevermind, it's all in that thread, the highs and the lows.

Doesn't look so bad. The visual style looks flat and uninteresting, but that's nothing new for Smith's films. I laughed out loud at some of it. I'm willing to give this film a chance now.

Rosario Dawson... Mmmmmm...
