New catagory "Stolen Equipment"

I think it would be benificial to the community if we had a "Stolen Equipment" catagory. What do ya' all think? I reciently saw a DVX-100A being sold for $1500 in a classified ad and I wonder if it was stolen. DVXusers would be the first place I'd look. In fact, I did.
I have no idea how make this catagory happen. I can only hope that the moderator will come across this posting. Maybe if we all work together by replying to this message this idea might be heard.

Maybe think about posting this in the Suggestion Box for the Forum thread....

but that is just a suggestion. ;)

The Market place forum would be the appropriate place to post any reports of stolen gear. I don't think the volume of posts justifies a new forum. However, we could have a sticky for serial numbers of stolen gear. Unfortunately, someone selling stolen goods is unlikely to give out a real serial number before the sale.

I wish it wasn't true but sadly recouping stolen goods is a super big long shot. :( Finding it is difficult and with insurance most people stop caring soon after. I've been ripped off from small items right up to a truck. Never seen anything ever again. Other than the violation, I soon blow it off. I can't personally think of one first hand story of anyone regaining stolen property.

And I have seen many people do that.
