New Canon FD Mount allowing to change aperture

It's just little thing but it bothered us, so we decided to make it.

With the new FD mount, you don't have to use the "toothpick trick" to jam the iris handle on the back of the lens. The mount itself has a little groove to catch that handle when you screw the lens in.

New orders of Extreme will see this mount if they order FD. We have been shipping quite a few already silently but I don't know if users noticed.

This mount will work with Letus Extreme and Letus Mini

Happy New Year!!!!

Damn that's very cool, my brevis is jealous. I still have a FD lens I haven't been able to unlock.

T, both FD types, new and old can be used with full aperture control on our FD mounts. You just need to flip the manual aperture switch (old) or insert a small piece of material to keep the new version's aperture lock lever open. There's a thread in the Cinevate forum in the lens section on how to do it. Once the mod is done, you'll never touch it again.

Yeah I've unlocked all of my lenses (about 5) but I just can't get one to unlock. Think it's a sigma 3.5 80-200.
