Re: New camera supports, What do you think ?

Danny-

I just looked at everything real quick, but it all seems great. Especially the DV Arm...does it have a shoulder support point or only the elbow "cup"? Also, if you could provide a rough pricepoint, that'd be great.

Thanks,

-Harry

Re: New camera supports, What do you think ?

That Elbow Rig is Genious :)

Re: New camera supports, What do you think ?

Is this your idea? I think they're good ideas. Good job man. Way to follow through with an idea! Please post some prices when you get a sec.

Re: New camera supports, What do you think ?

Great ideas - seems like the basic supports are there - possibly a need for a shoulder brace for small cams.

Re: New camera supports, What do you think ?

Thanks for the replies.

I especially loved Jarred's one.

Any ideas for products names ?

I will reward the best ideas.

Danny.

Re: New camera supports, What do you think ?

Hey Danny,

Those look great... and I like the looks of the elbow model especially.

For names, how about:

DvRig Pro Bow or Pro PG (for Jarred's Pure Genius)

DvRig JR

no name ideas for the 1st rig

ps: Thanks for all your help in making my Pro Rig more user friendly for me. Shot another wedding this weekend and I now consider my DvRig Pro a Necessity for wedding videographers, makes shooting receptions a snap! I'm staying with my tripod for the ceremony, but in addition to receptions, my Rig has proven to be most helpful in getting pre-ceremony shots, cutaways...etc. Great product and a great guy to deal with!

Re: New camera supports, What do you think ?

Thanks Bill !

You get 7 out of 10 for the "PG".

Danny.

Re: New camera supports, What do you think ?

No prices yet. Wait till after IBC Amsterdam.

"Elbow Cup" Nice, Do you want it in the name contest ? ;D

It can win a Bronze Medal.  ;)

Danny.

Re: New camera supports, What do you think ?

I think "Bow Pod" would fit nicely.

Re: New camera supports, What do you think ?

OT: danny, can the dvrigpro do dutch angles(tilt left or right) w/o tilting one's body?

by the way, how's, "elbowa constrictor"? :P

Re: New camera supports, What do you think ?

Yes for "dutching" with the DvRigPro. :-*

2 of 10 for the "elbowa constrictor"  :-[

Thanks,

Danny

Re: New camera supports, What do you think ?

Mid-Level Tracker

Short Tracker

Midway-Rig

Freedom Base (Because it leaves your arm free to move away from it, and also cuz it sounds sooo super cool.  I'd see that movie!)

Re: New camera supports, What do you think ?

Thanks Rush,

You are in the semi-finals and a chance for Bronze Medal.

Danny.

Woohoo!! ;D

Re: New camera supports, What do you think ?

Danny,

Not as imaginative as some of the others but in keeping with your established naming, how about:

DvRigPro ELB or just DvRig ELB for the elbow support
DvRigPro ENG for the ENG model
DvRig JR (which someone already suggested) for the Jr model

Gotta build that name recognition.
