new camera, odd problem.

Just bought a new dvx and got it out of the box. Turned it on and a load squealing sound comes from deep within it's recesses. I quickly turned it off and soon found that if i tip the camera from front to back, back to front there is a clicking sound, like a hinged piece of plastic knocking back ond forth like the stricker inside a bell. I assume that these sounds are bad and need to send it back, but The camera works just fine and the picture, sound quilty is fine. Does anyone else have this "problem"? ???

they all do that.. its the optical stabilizer. just dont shake it, and by all means, read your manual. its clearly documented in there, among many other things..
