Hey guys,

Just thought I'd share this blog with you that I've started.

http://rtfilm.tumblr.com/

Just started prepping this independent feature that I'm gaffing and thought I'd write a little about my experiences in doing so. Maybe so you guys don't make the dumb mistakes that I make!

Let me know if you have any specific questions or requests. I'm just writing about whatever at this point, but I figure people will be most interested in seeing lighting setups once we start shooting. Whatever I do there will be lots of pictures for sure...always fun.

Hope ya like it.

I'm definitely interested. I learn tons from what other people are doing. Thanks for the link. I'm through the first entry. How do we contact you if we have an idea or question?

Just figured out how to let you guys ask questions. The first post is now a place for you to do so. Cool to see there's some interest.

Just wanted to say I put the last post on this guy today. Been quite the journey, but we made it out the other end alright! Thought I'd give this thread a bump for anyone who missed it the first time around, and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!

Also, just so you know, the more technical sort of stuff is more in the middle while we were still actually in production. The end is more just my thoughts and wrapping things up.
