New Advanced AF - another camera migration?

The A7 III will soon get the A6400's improved AF which is truly amazing (firmware update due shortly): https://www.cinema5d.com/sony-a6400-review-is-the-end-of-manual-focus-lenses-near/

For those that know how to deal with Sony color (yeah, it's more work but workable for video (prefer Canon for stills)), an A7 III with this level AF (and the A7S III will likely be excellent- 10 bit?) will be very compelling vs. the cheaper X-T3 and more expensive EOS R for video.

Only if Sony makes it 10-bit internal 4K 60p. 8-bit doesn't cut it in 2019 Sony.

Now that Sony is selling HDR (for a while now) and 8K displays, perhaps 10-bit HDR will finally make it into the A7S III?

Perhaps try this: "OK Sony, I'm still using a Sony 1080p SDR TV in the living room, add 10-bit to the A7S III and I'll upgrade to an HDR Sony TV* to go with the camera!" :)

* make that full quantum dot please
