twocik23, :dankk2: for your PMs but 'cause it will be useful, perhaps, to this community, what do you think to post as your product process here to all in order to have their contribute?

Twocik, how did you secure the lens mount to the 55mm spacer tube? I'm trying to build one based on your design and I have yet to decide on a lens mount. I'm going with the Nikon f-mount, but there are a few ways to do it. Also, how difficult would it be to make the GG in your design vibrate? I know very little about motors and such, but am trying to learn through the ten million threads out here.

You can do this a couple of ways, cardboard cut out, glue, metal, etc... I use rubber, it doesn't collect dust or condensation.

To make it vibrate you would need to put the glass or screen on a suspension system. So that the glass or screen is hovering in the tube. That way when you vibrate the adapter you're not vibrating the whole camera.

Don't get frustrated with trying to make everything you see on the site, take it one at a time. I know there's alot of ideas and plans to try.

Twoick,

I"ve read over your post and I'm confused, who makes your GG? Care to share or is it somebody who specifically makes them for you?

Twocik, thanks for the reply. I'm not getting frustrated yet, just trying to get the right understanding of everything. I should hopefully have all of my parts within the next couple of weeks. My focusing screen is still on backorder. Thanks again for the help.

It's made in japan, it's a connection through my girlfriends parents. They're taiwanese. I'm in the works of 2000 grit and possibly 2500 grit ground glass being made.

Here's a new screen grab, shot in super low light. Actually just a little up light.

BUMP! :D Oh, and another question. How difficult would it be to create a vibrating GG solution such as the Letus35 uses? I've read posts from last year indicating that a pager motor could be used for this purpose. I think this design is REALLY good, and cheap to boot, but I think that if you could vibrate the GG it would be even better. Any thoughts? Anyone?

use wax :)

actually man, watching that exterior footage, i see, what i think is ( hope not tho ) a flaw with your adapter.

near the sides of the frame, and corners, all the images seem more out of focus than they are in the rest of the focused, or unfocused frame.

pourquoi? (why?)
