Netbook for preview monitor

They are far cheaper than some nice displays... any out there with Component/HDMI/DVI/VGA input? Plus they are battery powered!

I was thinking the same thing. Wonder if any of them have ieee 1394 ports.

Don't bother. Unless you've got a core2duo processor onboard, they don't work too well (we tried). Screen res is also too low on most of them.
