Nested Sequence Update

I have nested my sequence but wanted to add a Timecode Reader to the nest. I created a duplicate of the nest, renamed it, and added Timecode Reader. Problem is, updates made in the original sequence are not reflected in this new duplicate nest. Any recommendations to make the same nest with Timecode Reader as a separate sequence? Nesting is bug prone!

Are you really explaining what you did?

You duplicated the duplicate of the nest??

Nesting is bug prone????? Really? Bug? Doesn't do what you want sometimes... but certainly not buggy.

Try just taking the sequence and dropping it in another sequence.

I would have to say buggy as this is not the first time I've had problems with nested sequences. My personal feelings about nested sequences aside...

I made a duplicate of a nested sequence within the browser. Not a dupe of a dupe like in your question. I will try what you suggested, seems like a simple solution.

Not sure how you think a duplicate of a different named sequence will update the nest and how you think that is buggy.

Again... not sure why you are doing so many duplicates. Nests don't tend to update past one level. 2 if you're lucky.
