Nero Vision Problems, go to Encore CS3???

I am burning a 1 hour DVD of a childrens play and for some reason, after an hour and a half of encoding and burning using an AVI file into Nero Vision, i went to play it in a DVD player, and the last 15 minutes goes slightly crazy. The video goes at almost double speed but the audio remains normal. Is this common?

I have Adobe Encore CS3 so i will giev that a shot, can anyone please recommend the best settings to use for 1 hour of AVI onto a regular DVD 16x9 ?

Not sure that I understand your workflow. You use NeroVision to edit, or do you just use Nero to burn?

I've used Nero to burn for years and have found it dead reliable. I'm still on 6. NeroVision on the other hand is a bid odd.

You might want to find another way to generate your mpeg2 file as it seems likely that things are going pear shaped in the transcoding phase. If you have an alternative workflow available you might want to try some different tools.
