Neewer A-B Stop Follow Focus C2

Okay, I've asked this question twice on Amazon. Now I'm asking it here.

Will the Neewer A-B Stop Follow Focus C2 work on my Sony FDR-AX33 camcorder? I don't see why it wouldn't. The AX33 has a focus ring on the front of the lens, just like my Canon T3i -- which this follow focus supposedly does work on. So does anyone know if it will work on the AX33?

As I said, I asked the question twice. Both times the same person answered with the same answer -- "No, it's only for DSLR camera and lenses with focus ring."

However, the description on Amazon clearly says "Neewer A-B Stop Follow Focus C2 with Gear Ring Belt for DSLR Cameras Such as Nikon,Canon,Sony DV/Camcorder/Film/Video Cameras,Fits 15mm Rod Mounts,Shoulder Supports" == so obviously it's not JUST for DSLRs.

So what do you guys think?

Yeah, if you can get the focusing gear on the ring, then it will work. I'd be concerned if the lens diameter was really small, but the filter thread on that is 52mm so it should be fine. Only issue I could see is that it focuses electronically, so every time you turn the camera on and off, the focus position will be reset. If you set A/B marks on the follow focus, you'd have to leave the camera on to retain those stops.

Yes it looks that way, but they might also be copied from Tilta, the Fotga DP2sII is a better machine but also at a higher price.
