After a looong time accessing what I need in a light kit I finally settled on a Comer 1800 kit. Yes Three Comers and one big soft florescent light. Now I am looking for the best way to mount my comer on a light stand. It fits in a regular light shoe so I need the best adapter that will hold the light. Any suggestions would be helpful!! I am going to order the Paul C Buff stands so any comments on those before I order them would be great! I have soft boxes for the lights so I am good there.
Now why the Comer 1800. Well after use I have found them amazing for the price. I shoot with a Canon 5D Mark II which is great in low light. I have found I don't needs tons of light just light I can control. The spot feature allows a lot of control on these lights for bouncing and the like. I also like no cords I have big batteries for each of them and they easy last a full shoot for me. These are used 99% indoors and I find them a lot more useful then led panels. Of course this is just my opinion. I don't have any affiliation to the company. The whole kit can be carried with one hand! I find if it's easy to setup and powerful I will use it more and get a lot better video. Thanks for the help.
