Need Your help

Alright, Its finally time for me to move up and get a professional camera. First, let me tell you what I need it for.

I need it to shoot movies, feautures, shorts, and I do indeed want that amazing crisp look, of course I also know that I wont get that look with any camera without adapters, lenses, etc. I do indeed want to enter in film festivals.

Now, my options are:

Canon Xl2- What do you think? Is this the right camera for me?

Dvx100a- Of course my favorite, but is it for me? How much will I have to spend on Adapters and Lenses to get the crisp look?

dvx100b- Any difference to the above?

Any other camera that can offer me what I need.

I already know about the HVX and what it offers, and I think thats just too much power for me, not to mention the price.

Thanks ya'll, I really appreciate it!

Truthfully, you can't ask that question on any forum and get an unbiased answer. My advice, go to your local rental house, and rent them for a day. But you really can't go wrong with any of those cameras, it all depends on if you know how to use it.

 I've read through that stuff, but what I wanted was your (the users) opinion. Those articles and writings just tell you what each camera has, and thats not what I need I can get that by google.com research, but a users comment I can only get from dvxuser.com, where else ?

Both cams will give you great results. Research the differences and see which will suit your needs better. Either camera, in the right hands, will make great movies. In the wrong hands, they are expensive paperweights.

There are a few threads discussing the differences.
