Need urgent help with Senn. Wireless ...

Just got my K6/ME66 + EW100 G2 Kit with lav. (is it called that?). Well I'm leaving for Spain monday and haven't had the time to read through everything yet, I'll try to do that this weekend.
But one question maybe some of you could answer right away.
When I use the EW100 with the Lav i get a really high signal with a lot of distortion. I'm able to get rid of it by turning down the SENS. on the transmitter. Whats the right way of doing this? the reciever has a AF OUT level adjustment too ... But the signal is probably to distorted when coming in to the reciever ... I don't know, has to test ...

Anyone wanna give me the answer?

You shouldn't have any distortion or noise in your signal. If its a squeal it maybe the plug into either the transmitter or reciever. I've had instances where the plug doesn't seat correctly, so I hold it in very firmly while I screw down the retaining nut. If its a crackling it maybe the anntenas are lose. Also ensure both the reciever and transmitter are on the same frequency.

Well, i'm pretty sure that it's not the cable or plug. I've tried another wireless Sennheiser-unit and the signal is "too hot". The other unit i tried had a knob on the transmitter, and if i turned that down i got a clean signal which i could raise or lower on the camera. I guess it is the same as the sensitivity setting on the EW100 ...

I just wonder what the AF OUT on the receiver is for? as i can lower the signal on the transmitter ...
