Hey all - Recently acquired a Sony PVM 8044q monitor. It is damaged to the point where the picture will turn on but after 10 seconds it shuts off automatically and won't come back on unless you cycle the power switch. Also the picture is canted a little sideways and can color shift if the sides of the monitor is pressed lightly. This was an eBay buy which was poorly packaged so I'm sure it was dropped quite a few times enroute to my "studio". Anyhow, I really hate to just toss it out, so -
Anyone smarter than me know if this is worth fixing?
If so, can anyone recommend a repair shop near San Francisco / Sacramento?
