Hey guys,
We had a pretty substantial failure with the two goriest shots I recently shot for a film. We had a rubber machete with an internal blood hose for the neck slitting effect, and a mannequin with a precut slit for the same machete.
Sadly our makeup artist just wasn't able to get the right result out of them on the day, so any suggestions for methods processes on showing a blade erupting through someone's chest, or a neck that slits open with a torrent of blood flowing out of it, would be much appreciated.
