Hello
A while ago I bought the epson Perfection 2450 photo scanner with max 2400 DPI. I still have it, but with warm up time, it is slow, and I need to scan hundreds of photos. So I am looking to replace this scanner with another, and would like something faster. Also would be great to scan and have it automatically crop the size of the print and save on the fly. that way I can open the lid, scan, save, replace photo, scan, ... and so on. Can I do this.
I was using 2400DPI and was happy with that. I save my photos out as jpeg. Targas were to big and did not really need them.
I was happy with the Epson brand, never failed me. At the time I spent around 300 dollars, but it looks like now days for the same scanner, they run under 100 dollars. I did not need fancy software or dust removal, I can do photoshop later.
What would you recommend? Anyone try out the new epson scanners under 100 dollars?
thanks
