OK I am in Pal Land. I have shot a wedding in 720P50.

I have had a request frm the bride to provide two NTSC dvds for her family who live in NTSC land.

How do I do this quickly and easily? I am using FCP7 and DVDSP.

Thanks in advance.

Can't they just play it on their computer? Otherwise, there's a google for that...

Possible solutions(from best to worst):
-Recommend the couple to buy a cheap multi region/format/voltage no name DVD player (about $20, much cheaper than conversion cost)
-Buy the nattress conversion plugin($100) to do a proper conversion in FCP:
http://www.nattress.com/Products/standardsconversion/standardsconversion.htm
-Use the compressor to convert the finished QT movie from PAL to NTSC, then compress again for DVD. (free, acceptable result)
-Import your QT movie into DVDSPRO and choose the NTSC format to build.(free, poor choopy result)
-Take your PAL DVD into a video shop that does PAL-NTSC conversion and let them do it (Most costly, almost as bad as prior solution)

Hope it helps.

Thanks for the advice. I suggested the multi region DVD player and they dismissed it straight away. They want to take the dvd around with them to show different families. I will check out the Nattress plugin.

Cheers
Steve
