I'm beginning post on a large-ish project, and need to get organized... One of the things I want to do, that I've thought about before but never had the time, is to conform all the footage (XHA1:1080/24f and HV20:1080/24p) to 720p/24.
I'm getting pretty confused about the tools available to me... Compressor looks like it will do it, but chokes a little every time I drag more than about an hour's worth of clips in. I know Cinema Tools will conform, but I don't think it will resize...
How do you guys and gals handle this kind of housekeeping?

ps. I'm running Final Cut Studio 2, all updates, on a Macbook Pro.
