Hello...
I've been reading many threads and trying to piece this together.
I've got a large movie that I need to author on an 8.5 dual layer dvd so I can make a glass master for replication.
I've heard about Encore 2.0 Is it true there are many "bugs" in that program?
And I have to "encode" it first prior to making the dvd.... do I buy another program to encode it?
Am I better off dumping the movie on DLT and can they author it from there?
I'm sooooo lost about the entire procedure. My goal is to make a dvd that will play on any dvd player. (like the pro's in the video store) I also want the best looking quality as possible. (as we all do)
