I'm rebuilding/upgrading my light kit. Currently I have a Lowel DV55 kit and 1000w Rifa from about 4 years ago. The Lowel lights proved to be rather cheap with 3 of the lights breaking in one way or another with not much use. The case they provide has also had things break off it. I will probably never buy Lowel again because of that. I may keep those lights just to have them in case I ever need them for something (they are fairly small and light and easy to move around).
Here is what I'm thinking of buying. It's all Cool Lights stuff. I may add an Arri 1K and/or 2K to the kit, but I'm not sure I'll actually need it. I think it's a pretty diverse light kit with a combination of soft and hard light (mostly soft since that's what I tend to prefer) that will be usable in a variety of situations, but I'm not 100% sure since I'm not as experienced with lighting.

Also, for those with experience with Cool Lights, what do you think of their light stands? Is there something you'd recommend over them for about the same cost? I do have 4 c-stands already, but want some light stands in case the c-stands are used for other things. And are there any opinions about the cases they sell? I personally prefer hard cases than the soft cases they have, so I was thinking of buying an Arri case for the Fresnels and Softbox light and Stormcases for the rest.
