Need Some help

Hey there,
I'm using DVD Architect 4.0a. When I try to burn a prepared project I'm getting an error message

I know my burners are fine I have copied other dvd's to and from each drive. It isn't the software I hooked up an external burner and it burned fine. Does anyone know if DVDA 4 is having problems with SATA drives?
I have posted this on a few other forums so I apologize for any overlap but i'm getting kind of desperate.

It's a hardware error (communication between the burner and the system).

Cable bad (but not bad enough to stop working completely), or the media is trying to identify itself as something the burner can't read (like it's saying I'm a 16x disk, but the burner doesn't know about 16x disks).

Parenthesis examples are just "for instances" and may not apply. But something along those lines is likely.

Whoa. Just looked up that model number...hard to find, and the one page that did have info couldn't even qualify it for burning DVDs. At all.
