Need some help

My computer crapped out and will not recognize my HVX when trying to capture footage into my NLE. Anyone living in the Long Island area who can help me edit a small project? Very simple editing job. I need to add audience cutaways over a 45 minute block of footage. Nothing fancy, maybe a dissolve or two
