This seems to be a tired subject. Tried over at apple, but I can't find a solution to my problem.
The tools:
Panasonic HMC 40 AVCHD (footage is 1080 24p)
Mac 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
OSX 10.6.2
FCE 4.0
The problem:
I was able to log and transfer with no trouble BEFORE I upgraded to snow leopard. Now I get Error: No Data when I attempt to log and transfer. I made sure I was using Apple Intermediate Codec, switched to stereo plain and cleared the log and transfer cache. I'm thinking the upgrade to snow leopard is the problem and I may need the update to FCE 4.0.1. But, I can't find the update anywhere.
So my question is: Do I need FCE 4.0.1? Where do I get it for FREE? Anything else I may be missing?
